My Pack: Married way over my head to Shelly 11.7.98. She is my best friend, my best confidant, my best supporter, simply said; she is my best! Two kids, Nicolas; diaper wearing little munchkin who refuses to use the potty. And then there is Abigail, the seven year old “Super Star” of our home.

Why I do what I do: I am a Soul Winner. I never started out to be one, but it has turned out to be my life’s work, and when I am in the mode of reaching for a soul, I feel God working through me. That is why I do what I do. I have the greatest job in the world.

Point of Origin: Birthed in Kalamazoo, Michigan 1/12/75 (yes there really is a Kalamazoo) and reared in Florence, Alabama.
My Most Momentous Day: The day I was married, the day we brought Alayna home from Houston, and the day we found out Shelli was pregnant with Kyle.
I go home to: My friend and lover Shelli and two wonderful children, Alayna; the princess given to us from heaven and Kyle; the early riser who want's coffee milk first thing.
My inspiration comes from: Where do I begin? Every message I heard preached all my life from Youth Camps to church services. My Mom and Dad, the ones who brought me into this world and have prayed so many prayers for me. My friend and leader of our great team, Jeffery Ralston. The tour guide in New York, Mark Grissom, for his insight into pop culture. I am taken back at the sacrifice of my Brother In-law, Steven Andrus in Togo, Africa. I can’t forget my father figure in Lake Charles, Gary, and the man that taught me how to brown nose, Pa Pete. My mentor and truly a man of great character, Harry Sommers.
My Tunes: Hillsong, Desperation Band, Chris Tomlin and everything worship.
My Passion: One of my biggest passions is leading God’s Worship and helping others find out what the “God life” is all about.

Homeplace: I was born in Knoxville, TN. I now make my home in Sulphur, LA.
My Crew: My wife and best friend, Penny Areno Wade. We have two AWESOME boys. Our oldest, Brilyn Jon-Marc, was born in 1998. He is Holy Ghost filled, well-balanced, driven and excels at everything he does. Our baby, Kollison James, was born in 2003. He is a wide-open little guy who is all boy and can also be a little snuggle-bug.
What I do in my spare time: I Spend time cooking out and playing in the yard with my crew. I also love to fish and golf every chance I get. We are a baseball family and I enjoy helping coach my sons in baseball.
My Teams: I love the Houston Astros and have always been a Tennessee Vol fan. I am also an LSU fan by marriage.

I look up to: Bishop Billy McCool, Knoxville, TN, who gave me a great foundation of the apostolic doctrine. Pastor Kenneth Carpenter, Maryville, TN who is not only my uncle but my inspiration. He has taught me many things about the ministry, most importantly "always be yourself". Pastor Robert Martin, Baton Rouge, LA, who has always been a friend and someone I can look up to. Pastor Jeffery Ralston and the First Church Pastoral Team. My father-in-law, Jonathan Areno, who has taught me to have a five-year plan.
My Purpose: My purpose in life is to be a soul-winner and the best Christian I can be. God has given me a wonderful family and a great church family.

Old Homestead: Reared on a farm in Paeonian Springs Va..where we milked cows etc..
Life’s Work: United States Air Force, 30 years law enforcement, 18 years Clerk of Courts office and retired after two careers.
Family: Married to the same beautiful woman for 50 wonderful years with two sons, Harry III, and Bill, daughters in law, Divah and Belinda, five grandchildren, Savannah, Katie, Michael, Billy and Sarah. All of them are healthy and wonderful.
Music: Southern Gospel mostly, some Cajun, and a little country.
Spare time: Yard work, home and church, doing God’s work , a little fishing and a few vacations.
Heroes: My dad, who worked all his life to support his family, the image that John Wayne projected, and last but not least, My God, who put up with my misgivings for years.
